NASW-AK WANTS YOU!
The Alaska Chapter's Nomination and Leadership Identification Committee (CCLNI) is currently looking to solicit nominations for individuals interested in serving as part of the Chapter Board of Directors. Several positions are still open for members throughout the state, and we encourage all who are interested to submit your name for consideration. Nominations will be open on March 1, 2025, with forms submitted by April 31, 2021. Elections will be held in May 2025. Terms begin July 1, 2025.
NASW’s long term commitment is to be a statewide leader in social work. We need you to reach this goal and keep NASW an active and productive Association. Being part of the Chapter Leadership or the Board of Directors for your professional organization is a great way to get involved, an excellent resume builder and allows you to provide your area of practice with a voice. We hope you will consider running and continue to support your professional organization.
Please consider nominating yourself or another member to serve on the Board - filling these positions is vital to the continued success of NASW-AK! The CCLNI looks forward to receiving nominations from our future social work leaders to advance the profession in Alaska.

- Southcentral Rep I-A (1 position available/two year term)
- Southeastern Rep (1 position available/two year term)
- SHARP Council Representative – by appointment
- CCLNI – Nominations & Leadership Identification Committee – by appointment (must be past board member) (4 positions available/two year term)
